169/ A Question Asked

12th April 2025

“Be generous with kindly words, especially about those who are absent.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

And only an illusion stands between you and your brother, and the holy Self you share together. (ACIM, T-22.IV.7:8)

***

Lesson 169. By grace I live. By grace I am released (ACIM, W-169). Yesterday: The lesson was about receiving God’s grace and this is yet another concept that is hard for me to grasp. I felt that I was just repeating the lesson for the sake of it and I also had to set the timer on my phone for a bit of a nudge. My mind felt woolly and reluctant. Today: I looked up the definition of ‘grace’ a few moments ago and it said that, in a general sense, grace is ‘kindness, favour and beauty’; in a religious sense, grace has more to do with mercy. I relate only to the former, in that receiving God’s kindness touches my heart whereas the thought of mercy scares me. And this lesson actually goes into the finer details of God’s grace which I find very heart-opening.

The crucifixion had no part in the Atonement. Only the resurrection became my part in it. This is the symbol of the release from guilt by guiltlessness. Whom you perceive as guilty you would crucify. Yet you restore guiltlessness to whomever you see as guiltless. (ACIM, T-14.V.10:1-5)

A Course in Miracles poses many questions. For example, how do we perceive ourselves? Do we perceive ourselves as an idea that we are able to share, and do we know that giving is receiving?

Are we apart or are we one? Is God a fantasy or is God a fact? And why are we alive at all?

Jesus mentions the crucifixion in the passage above, and this brings up the question of the difference between the ego and the Holy Spirit. The answer is that one is guilt and the other is innocence.

The mind appears to be split between the two and the only question that should now be asked is whether we can heal the split? How can we unify the mind so that we know our Source?

This leads to the question of our identity. Jesus, in his lifetime, knew the answer - we are all collectively the one Son of God; we are the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus knew that the only way to find the answer was through forgiveness and this is why A Course in Miracles teaches as it does. Only forgiveness leads us to our resurrection or, to put it another way, only forgiveness can wake us up.

170/ Internal Search

13th April 2025

“Do anything, but let it produce joy.” Walt Whitman.

And every thought of love you offer him but brings you nearer to your wakening to peace eternal and to endless joy. (ACIM, T-29.V.3:5)

***

Lesson 170. There is no cruelty in God and none in me (ACIM, W-170). Yesterday: When repeating the words of the lesson (relating to God’s grace and my own release), I never felt I was actually digesting what I was saying. Partial understanding really doesn’t mean anything and so, for the most part, I was just acting like a body repeating the theme. Today: The lesson asks us to look at the gods that we have made - the ones whose lips are smeared with blood and whose bodies are always made of stone - and then withdraw our worship completely. The lesson tells us that we have forgotten our only Creator and it is only our Creator that can fill any of our minds with boundless Love.

The journey that we undertake together is the exchange of light for dark, of ignorance for understanding. Nothing you understand is fearful. It is only in darkness and in ignorance that you perceive the frightening, and shrink away from it to further darkness. And yet it is only the hidden that can terrify, not for what it is, but for its hiddenness. (ACIM, T-14.VI.1:1-4)

If we go to bed at night feeling scared that there are monsters under the bed, a practical solution would be to check under the bed to see if the monsters are there.

If we are scared of what’s up in the attic at the top of the house, the most sensible thing to do would be to shine a torch into the attic and then decide for ourselves.

And if we rely on hearsay about what’s down in our cellar then, until we actually go down into the cellar, we would never be able to put our minds at rest.

It is exactly the same with all of our fears. We are scared of something but we don’t know what it is.

A Course in Miracles therefore challenges us to face our fears, and we do this without exception.

Fear is not external to us - it is in the mind. By knowing what fear is, we bring peace to the world.

171/ One simple Fact

14th April 2025

“What each of us believes in is up to us, but life is impossible without believing in something.” Kentetsu Takamori.

Nothing can prevail against a Son of God who commends his spirit into the Hands of his Father. (ACIM, T-3.II.5:1)

***

Lesson 171. Review of lessons 151 and 152 (ACIM, W-171). Yesterday: The lesson was enjoyable to contemplate (“there is no cruelty in God and none in me”). It is probably true for everyone that we are cruel to ourselves, as in what we are thinking. Self-talk can take many forms and I often beat myself up over something I feel I might have done, or feel I should do. And so, being kind to myself was a good antidote to all the mental tribulations of the day. Today: The theme for this review is “God is but love, and therefore so am I”. It fits in well with the image I have of my mind as the sky and my thoughts as clouds. This is what I kept coming back to when my mind began to wander.

The search for truth is but the honest searching out of everything that interferes with truth. Truth is. It can neither be lost nor sought nor found. It is there, wherever you are, being within you. Yet it can be recognized or unrecognized, real or false to you. If you hide it, it becomes unreal to you because you hid it and surrounded it with fear. (ACIM, T-14.VII.2:1-6)

A Course in Miracles gives us a few facts.

  • God Is. We can dispute this but, if we remember it, all thinking disappears

  • Love is. Clearly we think it isn’t but, if we didn’t, we wouldn’t be here.

  • Truth is. Being untruthful isn’t a crime; it’s just a mistake.

A Course in Miracles takes us from an identity as a body to an Identity beyond the body. This is as the Self that we are instead of a self that we’ve made up.

The Self is love. The Self is truth. The Self is now. The Self just is and can’t be what isn’t. The Self has no boundaries and this is a fact.

172/ Real and Unreal

15th April 2025

“We must fear God out of love, not love Him out of fear.” Saint Francis de Sales.

God is not the author of fear. You are. You have chosen to create unlike Him, and have therefore made fear for yourself. (ACIM, T-4.I.9:1-3)

***

Lesson 172. Review of lessons 153 and 154 (ACIM, W-172). YesterdayThis was the start of another review. The first of the two lessons being reviewed was “all things are echoes of the Voice for God” and these echoes are things I am slowly beginning to appreciate. Our minds need to hear something that is sweet and attractive and alluring. Direct communication with God is revelation and this is where all time completely disappears. Therefore, we start small and, as we hear the echo, we end up feeling big. Today: There is something profoundly beautiful about saying “God is but Love, and therefore so am I”. The mind is vast and ethereal. Within the context of God being Love, the mind is also love and all we need to do is to recognize it.

The Atonement does not make holy. You were created holy. It merely brings unholiness to holiness; or what you made to what you are. Bringing illusion to truth, or the ego to God, is the Holy Spirit’s only function. Keep not your making from your Father, for hiding it has cost you knowledge of Him and of yourself. (ACIM, T-14.IX.1:1-5)

Atonement is the complete dissolution of everything that we know as physical truth. All that we have held dear is gone. Truth no longer exists as we know it and what remains is absolute bliss.

Bliss arises when the mind cannot conceive of an opposite. There is no other. Bliss is just endless and infinite, and as clear as the sky.

We are the sky or, to use another metaphor, we have become the ocean. We no longer identify with all the transitory beliefs that we once held so dear. We are one with everything that is.

And the body is of no importance - except as a means of communication for the mind. Since the mind is light, the body is able to radiate that light. It becomes a beacon of light in the darkness.

A Course in Miracles therefore leads us from darkness to light. It shows us the way to release all of our self-inflicted pain and suffering. It returns the mind to what it knows it is so that life becomes full and meaningful. Its only purpose is to train our minds to see what is real and what is unreal.

173/ Eternally Now

16th April 2025

“The highest art is the art of living an ordinary life in an extraordinary manner.” Tibetan Proverb.

You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality. (ACIM, T-10.I.2:1)

***

Lesson 173. Review of lessons 155 and 156 (ACIM, W-173). Yesterday: We are now in April and it feels like the year is passing by very quickly. The same with yesterday. The morning started slowly and I was aware of practising the lesson. I then had a tai chi class at 1pm and I forgot all about the lesson for a while. When I remembered, it was well into the afternoon and so I set the hourly reminder on my phone for the rest of the day. By the time evening had come, it felt like I was squeezing in my extended practice. Today: These two lessons have movement as their theme - stepping back to let Him lead the way and walking with God in perfect happiness. As I contemplated the review just now, I could feel the movement of my thoughts carrying me away from my goal; I spent most of my time trying to lift myself up and rise above them.

Atonement teaches you how to escape forever from everything that you have taught yourself in the past, by showing you only what you are now. Learning has been accomplished before its effects are manifest. Learning is therefore in the past, but its influence determines the present by giving it whatever meaning it holds for you. (ACIM, T-14.XI.3:1-3)

A Course in Miracles is simply reminding us that all of our learning from the past has no meaning in the present at all. It can’t help us in any way.

The past has gone. All we have is the eternal now, and each repetition of the eternal now has to become our future.

The eternal now refers to a state of awareness that is beyond the illusion of time. It is here that all our thoughts of who we are and what we have done, and all the things we want to do, just disappear. It’s as if they have never existed.

The I amness of our nature is what arises to take its place. Our nature becomes a verb and not a noun. We are aliving instead of dreaming of a life.

The eternal now can be seen as infinity without an end. We just are and what we are is liberated.

174/ Life Is Happening

17th April 2025

“If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place.” Chinese Proverb.

What is one cannot be perceived as separate, and the denial of the separation is the reinstatement of knowledge. (ACIM, T-12.VI.7:1)

***

Lesson 174. Review of lessons 157 and 158 (ACIM, W-174). Yesterday: Whenever I was sitting with the lesson, it seemed as if I was repeating something I was happy to practise but, ultimately, was impossible to fully incorporate. Every hour, I would say the words (all to do with moving through life with God) but practically it felt like my body and brain were in charge. Outwardly it was a beautiful day but inwardly I had to grudgingly accept that my mind was a bit cloudy. TodayBefore doing the fifteen-minute meditation, I got caught up in some technical stuff about blogs and e-Books. I couldn’t let it go which, with hindsight, is just what my separate mind wanted. I now feel rushed and slightly irritated with myself.

If you want peace you must abandon the teacher of attack. The Teacher of peace will never abandon you. You can desert Him but He will never reciprocate, for His faith in you is His understanding. It is as firm as is His faith in His Creator, and He knows that faith in His Creator must encompass faith in His creation. (ACIM, T-14.XI.14:1-4)

The Holy Spirit is the peace in our minds. The Holy Spirit is everything we need yet tend to ignore, and we especially do this when our lives appear to be heading in the right direction.

The ego is the cause of all the frustration in our minds. The ego is also all the self-congratulations that we shower ourselves with when life again appears to be going our way.

A Course in Miracles leads us from a mind that is closed to a mind that is open. It tells us that the burden of responsibility is always on the thinker and the emphasis is always on forgiveness. We soon learn that life is just happening and all we have to do is to go within the mind and look to the light.

Erin Michelle Galito channels Jesus who is the Voice of A Course in Miracles. In the video below. Jesus begins by saying that our awakening is as a mind and not a body. We go from mindlessness to mindfulness. We were created by love and only forgiveness brings us back to this state of awareness.

175/ Little Point of Light

18th April 2025

“Inside us there is something that has no name; that something is what we are.” José Saramago.

Denial of Self results in illusions, while correction of the error brings release from it. (ACIM, T-1.VII.1:6)

***

Lesson 175. Review of lessons 159 and 160 (ACIM, W-175). Yesterday: We had a good long walk in the morning and a nice relaxing afternoon. An hourly reminder to practise was essential, simply because the day passed by so quickly. In fact, the alarm went off three times in the morning when we were out for our walk and it was a gentle reminder that, if the external world looks beautiful, then it is simply because my internal world is beautiful as well. Today: I started the fifteen-minute practice with the best of intentions but ended it with this huge, epic drama going on in my mind about how pony meat is being used for dog food. Such is the input of the ego, where my internal hate and anger replaces the quiet, healing love of the Holy Spirit.

Call forth in everyone only the remembrance of God, and of the Heaven that is in him. For where you would have your brother be, there will you think you are. Hear not his appeal to hell and littleness, but only his call for Heaven and greatness. Forget not that his call is yours, and answer him with me. (ACIM, T-15.III.12:1-4)

How we see others, then, is how we see ourselves.

A Course in Miracle states that everything arises within the mind. As we give out, so we receive in.

Within each one of us is a little point of light. If we choose to see this light, then this is what we are.

The little point of light lies beyond the body, meaning that the body has nothing to do with it. The body is simply an image arising within the mind and is of no consequence whatsoever.

The little point of light can only be remembered. It can’t be seen with the eyes since our eyes are just part of the body. The little point of light is always with us but it is veiled from our awareness.

In fact, we are all this little point of light. When the mind knows this fully, the little point of light then expands everywhere and spreads so much it has no beginning and no end.

176/ Ego in Flight

19th April 2025

“There are two days in the year that we cannot do anything, yesterday and tomorrow.” Mahatma Gandhi.

There is no time, no place, no state where God is absent. There is nothing to be feared. (ACIM, T-29.I.1:1-2)

***

Lesson 176. Review of lessons 161 and 162 (ACIM, W-176). Yesterday: I have two friends who are able to stay at home for days on end, quite contented, and never feel they have to venture out of the house at all. Not me. Yesterday, the rain was lashing down and I felt quite caged after half a day - the morning had started comfortably but that thought of comfort soon petered out. The second lesson being reviewed was “I am at home and fear is the stranger here”. Clearly, this doesn't apply to me. Today: This review allows me to see the light both in myself and others - “give me your blessing holy Son of God” and “I am as God created me”. As I sat with this earlier, I was bordering on the edge of understanding the concept as well as being at loggerheads with it. Part of my mind was having a mental rant and the other was not.

The holy instant is this instant and every instant. The one you want it to be it is. The one you would not have it be is lost to you. You must decide when it is. Delay it not. For beyond the past and future, where you will not find it, it stands in shimmering readiness for your acceptance. (ACIM, T-15.IV.1:3-8)

We just have to go within and be present.

Our thoughts are like a herd of cattle charging for the gate; or out-of-control horses that are pulling us away from where we want to go.

The point is not to fight with these thoughts; we only need to be at peace with them.

The peace in the mind is the light and light is always calm and silent, nurturing and healing. Any thoughts related to light arise silently and don’t lead us away into darkness.

The thoughts of the ego are the charging cattle and the wild horses. This is the darkness. It is only by asking the light to allow us to see our darkness differently that we get a new perspective. We find that there are no problems, and all the cattle and all the horses are just symbolic of the ego in flight.

177/ Analysis or Acceptance

20th April 2025

“Suspicion always haunts the guilty mind.” William Shakespeare.

Guilt remains the only thing that hides the Father, for guilt is the attack upon His Son. (ACIM, T-13.IX.1:1)

***

Lesson 177. Review of lessons 163 and 164 (ACIM, W-177). Yesterday: The review asked us to see everyone as the holy Son of God and also to see ourselves as God created us - in other words, we don’t see the body. Did I do this? Only when I repeated the lesson. The fact is, I tend to label everyone I meet as good and bad, including myself, and I do this pretty consistently throughout the day. How I feel can also change in an instant. Today: When I practised the lesson just a few minutes, I could feel suppressed anger bubbling away in my chest, paving the way for some quite violent imagery. I had to keep reminding myself to come back to the theme of the lesson, which is that God is love, there is no death and we are one with Him Who is our Source. The fifteen-minute timer went off when I was right in the middle of one particular hallucination, and I had to slow my breathing down and start again.

The holy instant is the Holy Spirit’s most useful learning device for teaching you love’s meaning. For its purpose is to suspend judgment entirely. Judgment always rests on the past, for past experience is the basis on which you judge. Judgment becomes impossible without the past, for without it you do not understand anything. (ACIM, T-15.V.1:1-4)

The ego analyses and the Holy Spirit accepts. Both analysis and acceptance exist within the mind and our belief is that the two are entirely compatible.

A Course in Miracles would state that this is nonsense. The two thought systems of the ego and the Holy Spirit are entirely incompatible. When they overlap, it just means utter confusion.

Analysis can never involve acceptance and, likewise, acceptance can never involve analysis. The ego might feel threatened by the Holy Spirit but the Holy Spirit is totally unaware of the ego.

This is the same as saying that pain can think of peace but peace never needs to dwell on pain.

We move from pain to peace through forgiveness and from peace to pain through forgetfulness. The mind decides on what it does and, while we don’t have to analyse this at all, we do have to accept it.

178/ Laugh out Loud

21st April 2025

“The truth is like a lion; you don’t have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself.” Saint Augustine.

The Holy Spirit will help you reinterpret everything that you perceive as fearful, and teach you that only what is loving is true. (ACIM, T-5.IV.1:3)

***

Lesson 178. Review of lessons 165 and 166 (ACIM, W-178). Yesterday: It was Easter Sunday - the resurrection. The two lessons being reviewed seemed highly appropriate, in that they were telling me that there is no death and that we are all one with our Creator. Since the resurrection symbolises how we awaken to truth, and the crucifixion symbolises our need to attack the truth, it’s good to remember the symbolism of Easter throughout the year. Today: This review asks us to remember the Thought of God and to know that we are entrusted with the gifts of God. It is clear, as I meditated on this earlier, that a constant flow of thought was distracting me from my purpose. I had everything within me but it was as if my mind preferred to remain in a state of flux.

In the world of scarcity, love has no meaning and peace is impossible. For gain and loss are both accepted, and so no one is aware that perfect love is in him. In the holy instant you recognize the idea of love in you, and unite this idea with the Mind that thought it, and could not relinquish it. By holding it within itself, there is no loss. (ACIM, T-15.VI.5:1-4)

The world is proof that we have to seek outside of ourselves for proof of our identity. We don’t know that everything we are seeking lies within.

External trappings mean we are soothing the ego. We are building a fortress simply in order to feel safe and don’t realise that whatever we accumulate will never be enough.

Deep within us all, there lurks a fear. It arises from weakness, doubt and unease. It is eating away at our sense of self and nothing we do can ever sate it. We are setting ourselves up to fail.

Sooner or later, we have to face this fear. We need to look at it directly and see it for what it is. And, when we do, we will find that it is a just thought - nothing more than that - a single thought of fear.

A Course in Miracles shows us how to dismantle this thought so systematically that all the fortresses we have ever built just fall away. We awaken to freedom and all that is left to do is to laugh out loud.

179/ Call for Love

22nd April 2025

“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.” Earl Nightingale.

Every loving thought held in any part of the Sonship belongs to every part. It is shared because it is loving. (ACIM, T-5.IV.3:1-2)

***

Lesson 179. Review of lessons 167 and 168 (ACIM, W-179). Yesterday: I went on an organized walk in the morning and so I didn’t put on the timer on my phone - I would just look at the lesson randomly as my mood directed me. In the afternoon and evening, I did the same and, in many ways, I just felt like I was going through the motions. I was a body/mind occasionally remembering about the Thought and the gifts of God. Today: I have just been reading in the Text about the special relationship. This is when we use a relationship with another person as a barrier to protect us from the Love of God. We make a hell instead of a Heaven, even though we are trying to replicate a sense of heaven out of it. Sometimes, these relationships have to be at the forefront of my mind in order for me to really appreciate what a special relationship is.

Beyond the poor attraction of the special love relationship, and always obscured by it, is the powerful attraction of the Father for His Son. There is no other love that can satisfy you, because there is no other love. This is the only love that is fully given and fully returned. Being complete, it asks nothing. Being wholly pure, everyone joined in it has everything. (ACIM, T-15.VII.1:1-5)

The holy relationship is simply when we see the Love of God in everyone.

No matter what someone says, no matter what someone does, it can make no difference to the eyes of the seer. The seer knows that everything is either love or a call for love.

Jesus, on the cross, knew that his persecutors were calling for love. They were desperate. And we also need to do this, albeit in far less trying circumstances.

A Course in Miracles is therefore the path from fear to love. We are learning to forgive ourselves for overlooking something we have never lost but are just trying to replicate in many different ways.

Love is with us always and we are love. Whatever someone does to us, whatever someone says to us, they will certainly witness our inner peace if we respond with love instead of fear.

180/ Body and Brain

23rd April 2025

“If you always give, you will always have.” Chinese Proverb.

God offers only mercy. Your words should reflect only mercy, because that is what you have received and that is what you should give. (ACIM, T-3.VI.6:1-2)

***

Lesson 180. Review of lessons 169 and 170 (ACIM, W-180). Yesterday: I learned not to try and change anything, just to let my thoughts bubble away as they wished and let them be. The Holy Spirit works in mysterious ways and we have to let the Holy Spirit do the work - all we have to do is to be a silent witness to our thinking and not attempt to judge it. For me, yesterday went from bad to good to better, and I tried to be accepting of everything. Today: ACIM talks about the bridge and about how everything is all so different on the other side. This is where we know what Heaven is and it is only what we find on this side of the bridge that is the great distortion. When I think about this - when I remember all my different interactions with bodies from yesterday - I can easily see how I project onto others. My own internal world comes shining through and it is always grossly distorted by ego needs.

The Holy Spirit is God’s attempt to free you of what He does not understand. And because of the Source of the attempt, it will succeed. The Holy Spirit asks you to respond as God does, for He would teach you what you do not understand. God would respond to every need, whatever form it takes. And so He keeps this channel open to receive His communication to you, and yours to Him. (ACIM, T-15.VIII.5:1-5)

If God is total Oneness, then there can be no opposite. This is unequivocal.

God is not some public figure up on a cloud. God just Is. How could the body and the brain possibly comprehend this? It is impossible.

The mind is vast and incomprehensible to anyone in physical form. This is because the body and the brain are merely a product of a distorted mind. They are only images and nothing more than that.

Duality, then, is multiple images gone mad. The body and the brain is crucial within its composition.

A Course in Miracles teaches only Oneness but in a way that we can understand. And also, perhaps the greatest thing it teaches is that the miracle arises through the mind.

181/ Proof of Light

24th April 2025

“One day you will ask me which is more important? My life or yours? I will say mine and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life.” Khalil Gibran.

All your difficulties stem from the fact that you do not recognize yourself, your brother or God. (ACIM, T-3.III.2:1)

***

Lesson 181. I trust my brothers, who are one with me (ACIM, W-181). Yesterday: The final two lessons in the review were really about God’s grace and the letting go of self-cruelty. We are an extension of God’s Love but, because we have free will, our minds have decided to do something else entirely. If I listen to my mind, I definitely notice that I have the capacity for cruelty. However, I also have the capacity to remember and be kind. Today: This lesson is about dropping straight into the present moment. In the present moment, there is no past and no future; there is only what is. And so my first practice was purely about drawing myself back from future scenarios and from past thoughts, and trying to be right here, now.

The body is the symbol of the ego, as the ego is the symbol of the separation. And both are nothing more than attempts to limit communication, and thereby to make it impossible. For communication must be unlimited in order to have meaning, and deprived of meaning, it will not satisfy you completely. Yet it remains the only means by which you can establish real relationships, which have no limits, having been established by God. (ACIM, T-15.IX.2:3-6)

A Course in Miracles is a training of the mind. It is a way of reaching our true potential.

Our true potential is when love is everything and fear is nothing. It is when we have no limits because all the barriers have been removed. It means the mind is open and entirely at peace.

Sometimes, though, it is helpful to have a visual image of what a mind without limits really means. The near-death experience is all the proof we need to find this out.

Erica McKenzie’s near-death experience took to the light. She met God Who showed her how loved she was. God taught her about Self-love and appreciation. Erica didn’t witness God as a form but she didn’t need to. She was simply shown all that she needed in order to fulfil the purpose of her life.

182/ Decision for Freedom

25th April 2025

“Don’t look for meaning in the words. Listen to the silences.” Samuel Beckett.

Listen in silence, and do not raise your voice against Him. For He teaches the miracle of oneness, and before His lesson division disappears. (ACIM, T-14.XI.11:4-5)

***

Lesson 182. I will be still an instant and go home (ACIM, W-182). Yesterday: The lesson asked us to look straight into the present. This was not easy, or even impossible, and especially when my mind was whirling with thought. And yet I tried something new - a dance class - and had to meet many of the judgements I hold both about myself and others, head on. And I came out the other side with a new sense of self which, even now, I can feel myself doubting; and so I start again, getting back to this present moment. Today: This lesson felt almost poetic to read, with Christ being described as a Child travelling to a distant land and having to rely on complete trust in us as His co- travellers to take Him home. The lesson just seemed beautiful as I read it but required enormous concentration to practise.

You will not succeed in being partial hostage to the ego, for it keeps no bargains and would leave you nothing. Nor can you be partial host to it. You must choose between total freedom and total bondage, for there are no alternatives but these. You have tried many compromises in the attempt to avoid recognizing the one decision you must make. And yet it is the recognition of the decision, just as it is, that makes the decision so easy. (ACIM, T-15.X.9:1-5)

The decision is presence. It is being in the now.

As stated above, the decision is always one of total freedom or total bondage. We think we have pain thrust upon us but have no idea that it is all self-inflicted within the mind.

By travelling from a narrative of a past and a future, and into a space where only eternity exists, we find there is nothing to worry about. Spaciousness has no limits nor boundaries of any kind.

A Course in Miracles allows us to re-discover our timeless essence. It is about dropping into the entirety of our being and this is beyond anything that words can describe.

And we do this through forgiveness and being in the now. In fact, the only purpose forgiveness has is to release the mind from the one thought of fear that the ego is always trying to hide.
