Reflections 197 to 210

197/ Belief in the Unreal

10th May 2025

“A mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work if it is not open.” Frank Zappa.

Yet is the body prisoner, and not the mind. The body thinks no thoughts. (ACIM, T-31.III.4:1-2)

***

Lesson 197. It can be but my gratitude I earn (ACIM, W-197). Yesterday: The lesson told me that “it can be but myself I crucify”. Crucifixion therefore symbolises the pain we put ourselves through when we think with the ego. From the vantage point of this particular body, it becomes much more apparent in the early hours of the morning. My thoughts reflect dreams that are often disturbing and, when I do start the day, I distract myself so that the pain is shielded from my awareness. Today: I felt a bit hazy when I read through this lesson - occasionally having to read a paragraph twice just to get a hold on it. The only note I made was that “everyone makes our Self complete”. This means that forgiveness excludes no one or nothing, including God.

There is no problem in any situation that faith will not solve. There is no shift in any aspect of the problem but will make solution impossible. For if you shift part of the problem elsewhere the meaning of the problem must be lost, and the solution to the problem is inherent in its meaning. (ACIM, T-17.VII.2:1-3)

A Course in Miracles tells us that all our problems have been solved. Most of us would dispute this and couldn’t possibly accept it as a fact.

As students, then, we are being shown that the solution to any problem is always the Holy Spirit. We are being told that we are not the body, we are formless love and light instead.

We have a split mind which is always focused on the external - whatever we see appears true and real. We don’t realise that this is the paradox; the outer world only reflects our inner state of mind.

Any disturbance we see therefore begins within the mind. It is caused by a single thought of fear.

And this thought of fear has been magnified into eight billion different bodies, with the mind that thinks it is a body dreaming up continual thoughts that swing from pleasant to utterly terrifying.

What we don’t realise is that the thought of fear is not real. Only belief sustains it, giving it its power.

198/ Asleep or Awake

11th May 2025

“The creation of the world did not take place once and for all time, but takes place every day.” Samuel Beckett.

This world is causeless, as is every dream that anyone has dreamed within the world. (ACIM, T-28.II.6:1)

***

Lesson 198. Only my condemnation injures me (ACIM, W-198). YesterdayThis was one of those lessons (“it can be but my gratitude I earn”) that I was repeating throughout the day but just didn’t understand - although I suspect my understanding was filtered through the ego. And now I feel it is about being grateful for the intrinsic happiness that is the one mind. Today: This lesson has taught me that forgiveness is an illusion, but it is the only illusion that does not lead to further illusions. If we condemn - which my mind is doing all the time without my even knowing about it - then we hurt ourselves. Only forgiveness can set us free.

The power set in you in whom the Holy Spirit’s goal has been established is so far beyond your little conception of the infinite that you have no idea how great the strength that goes with you. And you can use this in perfect safety. Yet for all its might, so great it reaches past the stars and to the universe that lies beyond them, your little faithlessness can make it useless, if you would use the faithlessness instead. (ACIM, T-17.VII.7:1-3)

What is truth? If we knew it, then we would have no need for the body.

What is love? It means nothing when we smother it with fear.

What is life? It appears to be finite within a world where everything eventually disappears.

A Course in Miracles highlights all of the above, and more, and shows us how we can view each and every one of them with a new perspective. This means with a mind of clarity and complete certainty.

We find that truth is all around us and has nothing to do with form; love is everywhere and it is what we are; life is continuous and could not possibly end in death.

We live in a non-physical reality full of light. To not know this is merely to be asleep and not awake.

199/ Present Isness

12th May 2025

“Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.” Khalil Gibran.

The quiet light in which the Holy Spirit dwells within you is merely perfect openness, in which nothing is hidden and therefore nothing is fearful. (ACIM, T-14.VI.2:1)

***

Lesson 199. I am not a body. I am free (ACIM, W-199). Yesterday: The lesson talked about the condemning mind that binds us and the forgiving mind that sets us free. It stated that both operate within two completely different and wholly incompatible thought systems. I found that my own condemnation was extremely subtle, eating away at me throughout the day, while I was able to practise forgiveness through the application of the lesson. Hourly reminders helped. Today: This lesson is titled with one of the most recognisable lines of the Course. However, it was interesting how much I was reminded that I was a body during my first practice - aches, pains, worries - but if I dipped beneath these thoughts then I could sense the Voice for God.

This simple courtesy is all the Holy Spirit asks of you. Let truth be what it is. Do not intrude upon it, do not attack it, do not interrupt its coming. Let it encompass every situation and bring you peace. Not even faith is asked of you, for truth asks nothing. Let it enter, and it will call forth and secure for you the faith you need for peace. (ACIM, T-17.VIII.2:1-6)

A Course in Miracles asks us to never oppose the present moment. Being in the now is the simplicity of the teaching and yet it always feels profoundly difficult to accomplish.

We hate the present moment - why else would be not run towards it, knowing that it is the answer to all our problems?

In the present moment, there is no fear - there is only love.

When time stops, we are going to know the totality of everything - we just are.

Without the past and the future, there is no thought - this allows for a quiet acceptance.

We don’t know the present moment because we are too caught up in thought. It scares us but it is only by stopping our search that the mind quietens, and this is when our isness begins to shine forth.

200/ Rabbit Holes

13th May 2025

“The greatest kindness one can render to any man is leading him to truth.” Saint Augustine.

Like you, the Holy Spirit did not make truth. Like God, He knows it to be true. He brings the light of truth into the darkness, and lets it shine on you. (ACIM, T-14.II.4:1-3)

***

Lesson 200. There is no peace except the peace of God (ACIM, W-200)Yesterday: The lesson stated that we are not the body. It demonstrates how the body limits us and should simply be used as a vehicle for extending forgiveness. Personally, I am just grateful that my own body feels reasonably healthy - I can’t imagine how restricting it would be to do the Course and feel in pain. Today: One of the loveliest things I read in this lesson is that the Father is calling and His Son will hear. It seems so obvious and yet I know my own internal thinking has drowned it out - something that became very apparent as I meditated a short while ago. Why wouldn’t God’s loving invocation be beneath a continuous stream of useless thinking?

The Holy Spirit never uses substitutes. Where the ego perceives one person as a replacement for another, the Holy Spirit sees them joined and indivisible. He does not judge between them, knowing they are one. Being united, they are one because they are the same. Substitution is clearly a process in which they are perceived as different. One would unite; the other separate. (ACIM, T-18.I.2:1-6)

A Course in Miracles tells that insanity is always outside of ourselves; only sanity lies within.

The world is a projection of that insanity. The world is total madness until, and as we touch the sanity within, it becomes peaceful instead.

This now becomes the real world. Since fear, hatred and suffering are just an illusory state of mind, reality prevails and the world is witnessed by a mind that is love

We are leading ourselves down a rabbit hole when we think with the ego. It really goes nowhere. The thoughts of the ego are self-defeating and, ultimately, hugely painful.

What we need to do is to leave the rabbit hole and learn to be present within spaciousness and light.

The mind then switches to another way of thinking and, as it does, the world changes as we change.

201/ Buzzing Flies

14th May 2025

“There is not past, no future; everything flows in an eternal present.” James Joyce.

How can God’s Son awaken from the dream? It is a dream of judgment. So must he judge not, and he will waken. (ACIM, T-29.IX.2:3-5)

***

Lesson 201. Review of lesson 181 (ACIM, W-201). Yesterday: I was just back from two weeks of looking after my mother. It was tiring and I returned to my tai chi class feeling tired. At the end of the class, the teacher gave me a small lecture in response to a question I had asked and it floored me, making me feel like a child. I then decided to repeat the lesson for the day (“there is no peace except the peace of God”) and used it like a mantra for at least an hour afterwards. The feelings of the ego dissipated and a feeling of peace did take its place. Today: This was the start of another review and it tells us that we should question every thought we have and replace it with truth. We are told that any lesson in the Workbook, if understood completely, would be enough for salvation. It is solely our responsibility to keep a watch on our minds.

All your time is spent in dreaming. Your sleeping and your waking dreams have different forms, and that is all. Their content is the same. They are your protest against reality, and your fixed and insane idea that you can change it. In your waking dreams, the special relationship has a special place. It is the means by which you try to make your sleeping dreams come true. (ACIM, T-18.II.5:12-17)

If we really looked at our nighttime dreams we would see how they mirror our daytime thinking. What we don’t realise is that our thinking means nothing.

Each thought we think has no relationship with the screen of awareness through which it passes. It is like an annoying little fly buzzing across the sky.

If we see our thoughts as being our reality, then it means that our reality is simply an unreality.

A Course in Miracles wakes us up from this dream - and the big blue book is also a part of the dream as well. Our reality has nothing to do with form.

And, if our practice of the Workbook doesn’t wake us up, then at least it points the way out of the dream. Everything becomes a little clearer - the buzzing flies make no difference. Our nighttime dreams will also become a little kinder because the mind does not feel under threat any more.

202/ Classroom not Courtroom

15th May 2025

“The heart is the hub of all sacred places. Go there and roam.” Bhagawan Nityananda.

Remember that where your heart is, there is your treasure also. You believe in what you value. (ACIM, T-2.II.1:5-6)

***

Lesson 202. Review of lesson 182 (ACIM, W-202). Yesterday: It’s amazing how a few words can have such an impact. In the morning, we were spending a couple of hours with a falconry expert and one person in the group said “you weren’t listening” - this was in response to a question I had asked. I disliked her. Later, I helped that same person up a steep path and she was complementary, which meant I started liking her. The point is, the ego is always determined to fixate on either the good or the bad but what we are is not the ego. Today: What jumped out at me when I read today’s review is that God’s Voice is calling us home; what jumped out at me when I read the Text a little earlier is that it is only our desire to give peace away that stops us from having it. Learning to be still despite the busyness of our thoughts is therefore of huge importance.

Yet Heaven is sure. This is no dream. Its coming means that you have chosen truth, and it has come because you have been willing to let your special relationship meet its conditions. In your relationship the Holy Spirit has gently laid the real world; the world of happy dreams, from which awaking is so easy and so natural. (ACIM, T-18.II.9:1-4)

Life seems so difficult when people hurt us; it is awful when those close to us die; and it feels terrible when life doesn’t go our way.

A Course in Miracles merely suggests we look at life differently. This means looking past the body to the spirit that is everywhere.

This is what Jesus did in his lifetime and this is what he is showing us now. He is telling us that the body is nothing and our spirit is everything. The world is not a courtroom but a classroom instead.

Erin Michelle Galito channels Jesus in the video below. Jesus is teaching us the truth of oneness. He tells us that we have a right mind and a wrong mind, and the right mind is a place of peace. We are both truth and love and, when we are in alignment with what we are, then we have everything.

203/ Awaken from Sleep

16th May 2025

“Those who look outside, dream. Those who look inside, awaken.” Carl Jung.

You cannot dream some dreams and wake from some, for you are either sleeping or awake. (ACIM, T-29.IV.1:7)

***

Lesson 203. Review of lesson 183 (ACIM, W-203). Yesterday: I lost my phone. It was at the end of the day, at the end of a gardening job and I was hot and tired. I had an ear-pod in and was listening to a podcast on ACIM when the line went dead, but where was my phone? I looked and looked and looked, and couldn’t find it anywhere. Part of me was thinking “just be still and ask the Holy Spirit” but I wasn’t having it. And then later, back at home, I was a little calmer. I did have a clue - and I will have to drive over at some point to find out. Today: How clear is the fact that I am not a body and that I am free - which we have to repeat throughout this review? Not so much; my thoughts are very body-focused and my worries all relate to the body… and I still feel that my name is Mark and not the one that God gave me (which is the focus of today’s lesson).

You who have spent your life in bringing truth to illusion, reality to fantasy, have walked the way of dreams. For you have gone from waking to sleeping, and on and on to a yet deeper sleep. Each dream has led to other dreams, and every fantasy that seemed to bring a light into the darkness but made the darkness deeper. Your goal was darkness, in which no ray of light could enter. (ACIM, T-18.III.1:1-4)

We have to bring our sleeping minds to the waking mind. It is not the other way around.

The sleeping mind is dull, inert and entirely resistant to anything that might wake it up. It is a lie and it considers this lie to be an unalterable fact.

Our waking mind sits quietly and simply waits to be recognised. It just is and doesn’t know what isn’t. It is entirely alive and so does not know of fear, only love.

A Course in Miracles tells us that no one who lives in fear is really alive. If we think the world we see through our eyes is life, then all we are doing is denying life.

All life is of God and we are a Child of God. This does not require a physical identity but it does need a spiritual awareness. Only then can the mind awaken from the dream that is keeping it asleep.

204/ Joining the Dots

17th May 2025

“The more light you allow within you, the brighter the world you live in will be.” Shakti Gawain.

The real purpose of this world is to use it to correct your unbelief. (ACIM, T-1.VI.4:1)

***

Lesson 204. Review of lesson 184 (ACIM, W-204). Yesterday: The ego needs recognition; it needs constant verification and support. Also, since everything does happen for a reason, it means that losing a phone has a purpose which the ego cannot be privy to. I felt a bit bamboozled with all my efforts to find it and so the lesson was repeated in an unstructured way as time was lost from my pocket, and was not on my wrist. This meant I was calling on my own and God’s Name (the theme of the day) as often as I could remember. Today: I have just been reading in the Text how we need to look past the guilt of the body - something that is now beginning to feel rather obvious. The review states that the Name of God is my inheritance and that my Identity won’t ever be known by fixating on the body. It is only beyond the body that the key to happiness can be found.

Truth has rushed to meet you since you called upon it. If you knew Who walks beside you on the way that you have chosen, fear would be impossible. You do not know because the journey into darkness has been long and cruel, and you have gone deep into it. A little flicker of your eyelids, closed so long, has not yet been sufficient to give you confidence in yourself, so long despised. (ACIM, T-18.III.3:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that we are not afraid of love, but only of what we have made of love.

We are terrified of judgement, but it is clear that we make judgements all the time.

And we know that relationships are important, but only with a few people and maybe some animals.

The world has become such a grotesque distortion of our beliefs that it is almost laughable. We fear loss but all we can do is recreate that loss. We don’t know the way back to the peace we once knew.

God has also become a symbol of our irrational thinking and behaviour. We now see God as both vengeful and wrathful, as well as hell-bent on making us suffer.

A Course in Miracles says that nothing could be further from the truth. We have simply made one tiny error and all we need to do is to see the bigger picture and then join up the dots.

205/ Lucid Dreaming

18th May 2025

“Unless and until you have developed a heart inundated with compassion, do not sit on the seat of judgement.” Sri Chimnoy.

Judgment always imprisons because it separates segments of reality by the unstable scales of desire. (ACIM, T-3.VI.11:4)

***

Lesson 205. Review of lesson 185 (ACIM, W-205). Yesterday: What was the purpose of losing my phone which, in the long term, really doesn’t matter at all? I feel it is to be less distracted and to become more aware of the Voice for God inside. This is the whole point of practising ACIM. Smart phones, although tremendous assets, can also be horrendous distractions and, for my mind to be present, I have to be clear about my purpose. Today: The body just responds to what the mind is thinking. This much seems clear as I read the Text and applied the lesson for the day. The lesson says that “I want the peace of God”. I know that this has nothing to do with the body but, if my mind does become peaceful, then I also know that my body will act accordingly.

If you believe the holy instant is difficult for you, it is because you have become the arbiter of what is possible, and remain unwilling to give place to One Who knows. The whole belief in orders of difficulty in miracles is centered on this. Everything God wills is not only possible, but has already happened. And that is why the past has gone. It never happened in reality. Only in you mind, which thought it did, is its undoing needful. (ACIM, T-18.IV.8:2-7)

We need lucidity within the dream.

The dream can be passionate, loving, painful or appalling - maybe all four of these within a blink of an eye. Whatever happens, we shouldn’t take any of it seriously because, in truth, it is just a dream.

The dream has no rhyme or reason. The rich become poor and the sick become well. The world crashes and then rises up again. Friends turn into enemies and destroy us.

A Course in Miracles teaches us to withdraw all of our faith from the ego - which is making up this dream. It asks us to put all our faith into the peace of God and the truth of the Holy Spirit.

We can have a lucid dream or we can wake up from the dream. God is either known or God is not known. In truth, we don’t go anywhere because we are either in Heaven or we are dreaming of hell.

206/ A better Way

19th May 2025

“People try to create an outwardly perfect life, but the quality of life is based on the inward.” Sadhguru.

You have projected outward what is antagonistic to what is inward, and therefore you would have to perceive it this way. (ACIM, T-12.III.7:9)

***

Lesson 206. Review of lesson 186 (ACIM, W-206). Yesterday: When out for a walk on the moor just before lunch, I saw a hawk drop down out of the sky, quickly grab an unsuspecting creature and then sweep off with it wriggling between its talons. At first, I felt shocked - it was probably one of those pretty skylarks protecting its young - and then I realised that this is just what I do with my thoughts. My mind can send out a ferocious thought in just an instant and then, just as quickly, the thought is gone. Today: Quite a few thoughts were coming in to disturb my early morning meditation on this part of the review. Meanwhile, I had already read in the Text about handing over all of my thoughts to the Holy Spirit and asking that they be judged on my behalf. So I did this because, ultimately, it is the Holy Spirit that removes the barriers that prevent me feeling peace.

Prepare you now for the undoing of what never was. If you already understood the difference between truth and illusion, the Atonement would have no meaning. The holy instant, the holy relationship, the Holy Spirit’s teaching, and all the means by which salvation is accomplished, would have no purpose. For they are all but aspects of the plan to change your dreams of fear to happy dreams, from which you waken easily to knowledge. (ACIM, T-18.V.1:1-4)

We have completely misjudged illusions for the truth.

Basically, as we read A Course in Miracles, we have to admit that we don’t know what anything is for. We come to realise that we have been wrong all along.

We have to be open to a completely new way of thinking - or perhaps a better way of putting it is to be completely open to a new way of not thinking.

We also learn that what we have considered successes have been failures, and what we have considered failures have been successes. Again, we haven’t a clue.

But what we can be sure of is that we have asked for a better way, and that way can now be used.

207/ Within and Without

20th May 2025

“I do not fix problems. I fix my thinking. Then problems fix themselves.” Louise Hay.

The problem is not whether what the Holy Spirit says is true, but whether you want to listen to what He says. (ACIM, T-7.X.3:3)

***

Lesson 207. Review of lesson 187 (ACIM, W-207). Yesterday: In my notes from the start of this review, I wrote that we should always question our thoughts. This means that, if there is any thought that we don’t agree with, we should always say “this thought I do not want and choose instead…” and then repeat the lesson of the day. I have done this as and when I remember but, of course, thousands of thoughts pass by unchecked when I don’t. Today: ACIM tells us that the fear of death is the last obstacle that we need to overcome. This is what I concentrated on in my first meditation a little earlier. Basically, I am beginning to realise that every thought of fear that I feel - which arises as a result of the fear of death - is just a veil that smothers the presence of peace.

There is nothing outside you. That is what you must ultimately learn, for it is the realization that the Kingdom of Heaven is restored to you. For God created only this, and He did not depart from it nor leave it separate from Himself. The Kingdom of Heaven is the dwelling place of the Son of God, who left not his Father and dwells not apart from Him. (ACIM, T-18.VI.1:1-4)

We are the Kingdom of Heaven.

This does not include the body. It is not a physical place. It is simply a condition of our oneness.

There is no separation within the Kingdom of Heaven; there are no boundaries, rules or division.

Everything is always alive and only love is known. Out of God’s Love arises peace, joy and ecstasy.

Fear, however, has to be overcome before love can be known - this is the true meaning of passing through the eye of the needle. Everything has to be left behind, and it begins and ends with fear.

A Course in Miracles therefore prepares us for the Kingdom of Heaven - but first we have to know the real world. This means the mind is healed and the peace that is known within is seen without.

208/ Bodies Are Toys

21st May 2025

“The human spirit fails, except when the Holy Spirit fills.” Corrie Ten Boom.

The Holy Spirit will teach you to awaken unto us and to yourself. This is the only real need to be fulfilled in time. (ACIM, T-13.VII.16:5-6)

***

Lesson 208. Review of lesson 188 (ACIM, W-208). Yesterday: I was rushing a bit in this morning and forgot to take the card onto which I had written the day’s lesson - but that was alright because I managed to remember the wording and consequently repeated it throughout the morning just so I wouldn’t forget it. In the evening, we had a friend arriving and I was into the tenth of my fifteen-minute meditation when the doorbell rang. This meant the lesson was cut short - but that was also okay because it was all based on selflessness and kindness. Today: This lesson tells us that it is our hearts that witness to God Himself. During my first early-morning meditation, I felt that my heart was quite open but that I was mistranslating that openness into something that the ego was finding quite exciting. My focus then became distracted and had to be corrected.

Minds are joined; bodies are not. Only by assigning to the mind the properties of the body does separation seem to be possible. And it is mind that seems to be fragmented and private and alone. Its guilt, which keeps it separate, is projected to the body, which suffers and dies because it is attacked to hold the separation in the mind, and let it not know its Identity. (ACIM, T-18.VI.3:1-4)

A Course in Miracles tells us that only the mind can make fantasies. The mind cannot attack.

Bodies are part of that fantasy and our identity merges out of it. What we are - in terms of gender and personality - means absolutely nothing. Only our Identity is real and it is always one of spirit.

As we see others - either in the physical or as spirit - then so we see ourselves.

And when we do see others as a body, we see the ego. This is the fantasy and it is all based on projection. We project onto others either our own self-love or our own self-loathing.

All minds, however, are joined and this is how we let go of division. The body becomes just a toy.

Toys are played with but eventually let go of. The toy gives us a fantasy that has no bearing in truth.

209/ Responsibility for Life

22nd May 2025

“Be comforted, dear soul! There is always light behind the clouds.” Louisa May Alcott.

The Atonement is in time, but not for time. Being in you, it is eternal. (ACIM, T-15.II.1:1-2)

***

Lesson 209. Review of lesson 189 (ACIM, W-209)Yesterday: At the end of the summary for this lesson, the whereabouts of the peace of God is touched on: “It is within my heart, which witnesses to God Himself”. For me, these words are poetic and hugely meaningful. Today: The theme of this part of the review is about feeling the all-encompassing Love of God. It was clear, as I sat a little earlier, that superficial thinking can draw me off into a whole range of different emotions but the Love of God is always with me. This means that peace is always a choice - I am responsible for how I feel.

The body is a limit imposed on the universal communication that is an eternal property of mind. But the communication is internal. Mind reaches to itself. It is not made up of different parts, which reach each other. It does not go out. Within itself it has no limits, and there is nothing outside it. It encompasses everything. It encompasses you entirely; you within it and it within you. (ACIM, T-18.VI.8:3-10)

Our lives are not at random. As stated above, nothing exists outside of the mind.

We are entirely responsible for what we see. We make the external world because it arises as a projection of the mind.

It means that nothing is born and nothing dies. Life is only as we would wish it to be.

A Course in Miracles therefore puts the burden of responsibility back onto the reader. It tells us that nothing external can ever affect us. Only the mind might think it does.

In the video below, we hear about the life review within the context of the near-death experience. The life review is when we relive our lives and witness both the good and the bad. There is never any external judgement. We are loved completely but we still need to face the life that we have lived.

210/ Be our Self

23rd May 2025

“I looked into temples, churches and mosques. But I found the Divine within my heart.” Rumi.

Do you not understand that to oppose the Holy Spirit is to fight yourself? He tells you but your will; He speaks for you. In His Divinity is but your own. (ACIM, T-30.II.1:1-3)

***

Lesson 210. Review of lesson 190 (ACIM, W-210). Yesterday: The lesson reviewed was “I feel the Love of God within me now”, and now seems to be the significant word. Rumi, in the quote above, implies that it was only by becoming still that he was able to find the Source of Love. In my case, yesterday was a day that wasn’t exactly still - it was one of travelling, dancing and walking - but, within that context, I was still seeking the stillness within. Today: The lesson gives us a simple choice - it is to choose joy instead of pain - and this is common sense. After all, when I am smiling inwardly, how can the outside not be smiling as well?

The body is outside you, and but seems to surround you, shutting you off from others and keeping you apart from them, and them from you. It is not there. There is no barrier between God and His Son, nor can His Son be separated from Himself except in illusions. This is not his reality, though he believes it is. Yet this could only be if God were wrong. (ACIM, T-18.VI.9:1-5)

Go within: this is where we find the sky and the stars; the moon setting and the sun rising.

Look inside: this is how a world of love and light is found.

Be still and just be - no action is required, only inaction: this is not a paradox but merely an affirmation of a fact.

A Course in Miracles leads us away from doing anything. We don’t have to go anywhere or find anyone. We are not asked to think our way out of the predicament we are in.

We are simply asked to become the joy of life itself, and not the sadness; sadness only arises because of what we have lost.

Go within and look past the sadness… look inside and face the fear… become still for an instant and listen intently. All we are asked to do is to simply be our Self.
